Organised Entropy
Apnapan…
… from Shekhar Kapur’s blog. 20th Jan 2008.
http://www.shekharkapur.com/blog/archives/2008/01/apnapan.htm
a gentle touch of a finger
a leg rested gently against mine,
apnapana kind glance of empathy
in a crowded room,
apnapana hushed caring voice
on the other end
of a long distance call
are you ok ?,
apnapana hand laid gently
on my drooping shoulder
at a time of grief,
apnapana whispered unsaid
message of love
carried by the wind,
apnapana soft tear
at the corner of an eye
gently glistening
at the moment of parting,
apnapanan imagined
image of you
at the other end of the bar
compassionate
at futile attempts
to go with the flow,
apnapanknowing
somewhere
sometime
someplace
there will be
once again,apnapan
apnapan : hindi for the deepest sense of belonging
Very very original and uncontrived.
Out of all the pseudo-literary blog nonsense that everyone, including me, keeps putting up, this is one of the few gems that retains its rock-hard profundity, out of obscure, anonymous, simplicity. I am in awe of you, Sir. You are, in the true sense of the word, a seer.

@Mayank: In the long run, people are not what you think they would be, when you initially meet them up. They change. Been there done that. Déjà vu , dude. Pinchi(Quote)
