This entry is part 2 of 2 in the series The Eclair Glitch Project

After having seen every Hollywood horror movie under the sun (and some even under the neighbouring galaxy’s sun) including TV mini-series such as The Twilight Zone and Masters of Horror and even Alfred Hitchcock Presents of the bygone days, I decided to analyse the hackneyed plots and prove that creativity in this genre is dead. Included are the movies that take their plots from the horror-genre video games like Silent Hill, Resident Evil (I really like this one), Fatal Frame and the likes. I will, at some point in time, take up the Olympic torch from Wes Craven and Stanley Kubrick, and re-invent the genre.

The project evolved into an obsession soon and my ideas kept pouring out. This meant that a single blog post would not do it. I’d have to start a series. This series runs the insights derived from this maniacal analysis. Since the analysis is been done on an ongoing basis, I’ll keep adding to this series as time permits.
