50 New Year Resolutions (?)



So what happens when your sister sends you a card in the (vain) hope that you will keep up with 50  :WHAT:   New Year Resolutions?

  1. I will smile more often (Even if I have a black tooth) – Always do, ask my work colleagues :YOOHOO:
  2. I will keep happy (Even if I have to do so by eating those sinful calories) – Refer to #1 :YOOHOO:
  3. I will keep stress away (Even if I need to get drunk and forget it the next day) – What stress :DUNNOREALLY:
  4. I will live life to the fullest (Even if I have empty pockets) – Been there done that :SMILE:
  5. I will celebrate a lot more (Even if I have my neighbours keep complaining) – Refer to #3 :YOOHOO:
  6. I will live each day for a new reason (Even if they are just eat, drink and be merry) – Refer to #3 :YOOHOO:
  7. I will always feel good (Even if I am constipated inside) – Refer to #3 :YOOHOO:
  8. I will aim for the stars (Even if great heights get me dizzy) – Wait and watch :WINK:
  9. I will believe in my dreams (Even if they are impossible) – Check the title of the blog :WINK:
  10. I will never lose heart (Even if my friends forget to dutch) – With this salary in the UK? Forget it! :NOTME:
  11. I will never give up (Even if the whole world talks against Junk Food) – Never did, Never do, Never will :SMILE:
  12. I will work hard (Even if the targets look scary) – Duh! :OHYEAH:
  13. I will party harder (Even if I have to lose sleep) – Refer #3 :YOOHOO:
  14. I will keep promises (Even if I forget them somewhere later) – How can you “keep” a promise if you forget it? :DUNNOREALLY:
  15. I will spread laughter (Even if it’s at the cost of my best friends) – “Spread Laughter” YES, “…Best Friends…” NO CAN DO, haven’t any that I can afford to lose now :SMILE:
  16. I will uphold non violence (Even if I’m tempted to punch someone) – We’ll see.
  17. I will always think – “I can” (Even if it means – “I can lose weight”) – :ROFL: On Dot!!
  18. I will always feel young (Even if I need to use those anti-wrinkle creams) – Errrr… uhmmm
  19. I will give happy surprises (Even if they give me a black eye) – Refer #15 :SMILE:
  20. I will be a sport (Even if it means endangering my reputation) – NO CAN DO :BLANK:
  21. I will have fun (Even if it’s at the cost of getting bashed up) – :ROFL: “Have fun” YES, though I doubt someone can actually bash me up when I am as in #3
  22. I will give more time to my loved ones (Even if it means spending more time sleeping at home) – Sleeping! Absoultely. Though “loved ones” is kind of subjective definition :SMILE:
  23. I will keep the faith (Even if life doesn’t go my way) – Refer #8
  24. I will never be late (Even if it means skipping a meal) – Am never late though do skip breakfast everyday :SMILE:
  25. I will stay grounded (Even if I get wings) – NO CAN DO Refer #8
  26. I will speak my own mind (Even if it thinks shit) – Always did, Always do, Always will do
  27. I will be brave (Even if the neighbour’s dog gets hell aggressive at me) – Dogs usually like me, similar language I think :WINK:
  28. I will fight the odds (Even when they are supremely overweight) – Duh! Refer #12
  29. I will remain optimistic (Even if my plans go busted) – Double Duh!
  30. I will save water (Even if it means using more deodorant and doing less laundry) – Good Idea!! :IDEA: Deo is cheaper than water here anyways!
  31. I will stay kind (Even if my friends don’t repay their loan on time) – Refer #10
  32. I will be myself (Even if I’m feeling loony) – Always. Always. Always.
  33. I will give a song to my heart (Even if it’s sad and broken) – :DUNNOREALLY: How do you “give” a song to the heart?
  34. I will never sulk (Even if my “date” is stolen) – If the “date” was stolen, she wasn’t a “date” to begin with :WINK:
  35. I will not worry about my future (Even if the horoscope predicts much worse) – NO CAN DO, I will go to Panditji in Ram Mandir Shimla and spend time with him planning my future! Really! :JEEB:
  36. I will burn fat (Even if it means burning the desire to eat) – Refer #17, though in contradiction with #2 and #11
  37. I will be adventurous (Even if it means…wetting my pants) – :ROFL: “Adventurous” YES, the second part can only happen if someone else is wearing them :WINK:
  38. I will always use my head (Even if I’m drunk and drowsy) – I’m a Sailor, remember? :SMARTYCHAP:
  39. I will always speak the truth (Even if it means staying under house arrest later) – Kyu bhai? Gandhi hoon kya main? :WAIT:
  40. I will always stay as excited as a child (Even if people think I’m weird) – YES and “people” do think I’m weird :WINK:
  41. I will always act sensible (Even if my mind keeps snoozing most of the time) – Duh!
  42. I will take it easy (Even if my parents threaten to withdraw finances) – Been there. Done that. :SMILE:
  43. I will always have a blast (Even if my crush chooses someone else) – Been there. Done that. Refer #34
  44. I will never take things for granted (Even if I have to slog like an ass) – Repetition. Repetition. Repetition.
  45. I will do something special (Even if it means giving flowers to my DAD) – Bleh :BLEH:
  46. I will clear all debt (Even if it comes to beg, borrow or steal) – Dunno about begging or borrowing, but stealing is certainly a lucrative option :WINK:
  47. I will never feel hurt (Even if my ego bloats into a balloon) – :DUNNOREALLY:
  48. I will never lose my cool (Even if someone’s prank… makes me the fool) – :SMILE: “prank” is fine, “bullshit” and “know-it-all” smartness is not :WINK:
  49. I will be my best (Even when everyone acts like a pest) – Duh!
  50. I will follow what I RESOLVE and will have a great YEAR (Even if these resolutions make me giddy… and nervous with fear) – I think the answers will make the RESOLUTIONS giddy and nervous… :WINK:
