A rich, beautiful, young woman, recently married and on honeymoon in Egypt. She has everything-right? We see death coming before it occurs and the great detective Hercule Poirot has been there to watch the early drama unfold. So who is responsible for the death on the Nile?
If I could give this book 6 stars I would. One of my favourite books I’ve read. I love books that just capture your attention. This was certainly one of those books. Read in 24 hours and I didn’t even want to go to sleep last night- I would have happily stayed up and read all night if I didn’t have to be up early! Being honest, I did have the mystery solved quickly. But I wouldn’t take notice of that- I’m pretty good at figuring out mysteries, it’s just something I’m good at. Anyone else I’ve spoken to who had read it didn’t figure out the mystery. Agatha Christie is one of the best authors, there’s no doubt. I hadn’t read one of her books in ages but this has reminded me how much I love her. I’m reading another one of her books next and am going to search charity shops for more when I’m next in town.
