After what happened in London, Kirsty decides her family needs a fresh start. Running a guesthouse in the welsh mountains sounds idyllic. Then their first guest arrives. Selena, Kirsty’s cousin, is the last person she wants to see. It’s been 17 years since their relationship was torn apart. Is Selena running from something? Or is their a darker reason for her visit?
This is my kind of book. A mystery set in a remote area is absolutely my cup of tea! I really enjoyed this one. The story was really good, and the characters were interesting. The mystery of the book was well written and the outcome was actually really good! I’m often critical of the way mysteries turn out but this was perfect. Such an interesting conclusion and I didn’t find the ending too predictable. There were other parts of the story which were slightly predictable for me. From when Selena showed up I had figured out bits of her story. The story involving Kirsty’s husband, Adrian, was also a bit predictable for me. Other than that though, I thought the story was well written and interesting. Would definitely recommend.
