Book Review: THE OYSTERVILLE SEWING CIRCLE by @susan_wiggs_
Genre: Women’s Fiction
After 10 years away from home, Caroline returns with her career as a fashion designer in shambles and as the new guardian of 6 year old Flick and 5 year old Addie after their mother died. While back in town, she renews her friendship with her childhood friends, Will, and his wife, Sierra, and starts a sewing group to help battered women. Will her new life path be more fulfilling than her old one?
I enjoyed this story about a woman reinventing herself and her career after being confronted with a new and unexpected path in life. It was a sweet, light story throughout so I was surprised by the emotions it evoked in me towards the end. I’d highly recommend it for those who love a romantic, happy ever after kind of story in which you can get lost!
