Have finished reading this entire series, and loved most of them.
Anybody out There was definitely my favourite of the 5. Such a good mystery to the book, keeps you guessing for the first bit of the book. It’s an emotional read and shows human emotions at their most raw.
Rachel’s Holiday was my next favourite. This book deals with the effects of addiction, both on the addict and their family. Definitely a must read.
Angels would be my 3rd favourite of the series. A good solid storyline but I didn’t find it as interesting as the other two. It is a story that people will relate to, a woman suddenly left alone to raise her new baby as her husband suddenly leaves her, and the story was easy to read and get into.
Watermelon comes close after Angels. It is a good book, I didn’t find that it drew me in a lot but still a very good story. It shows how human beings sometimes just need time to themselves to discover what they want, and I did enjoy the story line, just not as interesting as some of the others and therefore didn’t draw me in.
The Mystery of Mercy Close was my least favourite of the books. I found it so difficult to get into and didn’t find the story interesting which was a shock to me because reading the other books I loved Helen (who is the focus point of this book) but I just didn’t find this book interesting.

  1. Marian Keyes has been recommended to me a couple of times. Is there one of her books that you’d recommend a newbie should read first?
