When Ellie’s brother is charged with the offence, her world begins to unravel.
When Mikey and Ellie meet, two worlds collide.
This book was really interesting, I’ve never read a book quite like it. Normally these books would follow the victim or the odd time the accused so this was a complete change. I’m not going to lie, I did slightly miss getting the point of view of the victim. We only really saw her through her brother’s eyes and Mikey wasn’t with his sister a lot of the book. We saw a lot more of Ellie’s family than Mikey’s. This was actually quite good as Ellie didn’t have the best home life. She underwent the biggest transformation as the book went on and it was so interesting to watch her go from blind devotion to her family, or Team Parker as her dad described them, to questioning whether they were the ones in the right. I did enjoy her story more than Mikey’s just because she was a completely different person by the end of the book. I would highly recommend this book!
