⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 In a remote hunting lodge, deep in the Scottish wilderness, old friends gather for New Year.
The beautiful one
The golden couple
The volatile one
The new parents
The quiet one
The city boy
The outsider
The victim.
Not an accident – a murder among friends.
This was probably my favourite book I’ve read in a while! Finally, a book with a proper ending 🥳 the book starts off with a body being found but we don’t find out who the body is until near the end of the book. It’s an excellent thriller and there’s so many different stories going on. Each character has secrets which they’re keeping from the others. The characters are extremely unlikeable- privileged and entitled. But that’s honestly what made the book so good for me. The build up is so good in this book- all of the guests have issues with someone else and it could literally be anyone who was killed. It wasn’t until the end that you could guess who it was. My only issue, and this is nitpicking, was that we didn’t see enough of some of the characters. We didn’t find out much about Nick, Bo, Samira or Giles and I kind of felt like we knew nothing of them at the end. It would have been good to see their perspective too. But honestly this book was great, and I’d definitely recommend it!
