It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband, and father of three school-age children. While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son, Albus, must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: Sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.
I think this is a really great continuation of the Harry Potter franchise. I really enjoyed it and I would really like to see the play on stage! I really enjoyed the development of the relationship between Harry and Draco Malfoy. I think that Albus’ relationship with Scorpio really showed that Malfoy’s was an eye-opener for Draco and Harry and I enjoyed reading about how that friendship played out. The fact that Albus was a Slytherin was also good because it showed that just because someone is a Slytherin doesn’t mean they’re automatically a dark wizard. I would definitely recommend giving this a read if you liked Harry Potter.
