On the fourth day of Christmas…. this one I was looking forward to reading for a while. I had read he said/she said a while before and really enjoyed it. I was slightly let down by it… not much now mind. I just thought it was a bit slow paced in comparison to he said/she said. It took a while to get going if I’m honest. The story is told in a number of different parts and for me it didn’t kick off properly until part 2. Once it did get kicked off, it was brilliant. Such good story telling. I wasn’t a huge fan of the end, I thought it was slightly silly and predictable. However, it is a solid thriller with good historical based parts.
