The final girls- 3 women who were sole survivors of mass killings. When one dies, the two remaining final girls strike up a friendship. But Sam might not be what she seems. She seems to be having a negative effect on Quincy, she is doing things she wouldn’t normally do. Is Sam who she says she is? And can Quincy trust her?
I had very high expectations of this book. After reading other Riley Sager books I was expecting it to be really good. I’m not going to lie, I was a little bit let down. The story was very slow to take off and I wasn’t even sure if it was meant to be a thriller or a crime book. I wasn’t mad to pick it up or looking forward to reading it. The ending did slightly save it- I say slightly because it was a bit of a twist. But it was only a twist because we weren’t aware of the events at Pine Cottage until Quincy remembered right at the end. I felt like the story just wasn’t carried out well.
