Ursula, Gareth and Alice have never met before.
Ursula thinks she killed the love of her life. Gareth’s been receiving strange postcards. And Alice is being stalked.
None of them are used to relying on others – but when the three strangers’ lives unexpectedly collide, there’s only one thing for it: they have to stick together. Otherwise, one of them will die.
I’m sorry to say that I was quite disappointed with this. I absolutely love CL Taylor normally but I just couldn’t get into this one. For most of the book, I felt like I was reading 3 completely separate stories which was very off-putting. The lack of interaction between the characters and their individual stories was just too much. We did see the connection at the end but, for me, it just wasn’t enough of a connection. The whole story was slightly disjointed and didn’t feel like one whole novel. That being said, I didn’t mind the individual stories. I enjoyed Ursula’s in particular. A lot happened in her story and I genuinely think the whole book could have been about her! I just felt that the individual storylines meant we didn’t get into each character enough and I couldn’t connect with them fully. I wasn’t blown away by it but it also wasn’t bad.
